Very true cuz. But as I mentioned hurt people hurt people. So you have to be mindful of the people you have around you. Pray for discernment and God will reveal to you the ones who mean you no good. Hugs.
I once heard feel quote ” we deserve what we tolerate” changed my perspective on so much especially as it relates to toxic friends and family . For some reason we believe that we have to force relationships with family because they are family.. all we owe each other really is respect .
Story of my live. The problem I had was blaming people for disappointing me when what I should‘ve done was blame myself for expecting Soo much from them in the first place.. What I have learned also is that in life some friends may only pretend to love and support you when it was never that way at all, they secretly hate on you and are actually jealous of you. These days I often wonder and try to understand how some people are ok with hurting people?
Self- Reflection time!!!!! Time to take self- inventory and then friends and family because indeed at times we are providing the space that is conducive to toxicity. We have to be willing to stand alone and not think we need to deal with individuals who are poisonous and leaves us drained, stressed and depressive. Amazing points Kay! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I have learnt the hard way with these toxic friends. My problem is being too nice and being afraid to speak up or walk away (basically putting myself first). I‘m working on that tho.
Kay!!!!! This episode was SOOO GOOD! We have all dealt with toxicity at some point & you gave the perfect advice on how to deal with that mess 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I wish this podcast out when I was dealing with a few toxic people. Please KEEP IT COMING!!
